Storytelling that outlives the moment.

Machipu Legacies is our storytelling and media division, dedicated to capturing the life stories and philosophical underpinnings of change agents whose journeys embody the values the company was built on.

Its flagship undertaking, From Robben Island to Wall Street, chronicles the extraordinary journey of a South African freedom fighter, banker and global thought leader who overcame incarceration, apartheid and personal loss to rise to prominence on Wall Street.

He returned home to drive economic emancipation for Black South Africans at a time when political freedom was still a dream. The story resonates with contemporary debates around ethical leadership, post-colonial capitalism and the struggle for moral clarity in political, social and economic transformation.
